You’ve been lied to about carbohydrates (and it’s going to cost you)
Humans have been eating carbohydrates for thousands of years, which makes sense because they are one of the main fuel sources and building blocks for your body.
I think it’s safe to say that without carbs, we might not even exist today.
Despite their importance in your diet and your body, almost every client I speak to has tried a low-carb diet, and at least when it comes to weight loss, many are seeing some or even great results
The problem is these results are coming with a HUGE cost…
It’s easy to look in the mirror and see if the weight is coming off from cutting carbohydrates.
But the problem is that there are some other negative effects taking place behind the scenes (that you can’t see) that will not only result in more weight gain down the road that is harder to lose, but…also a whole host of other ugly health issues to deal with.
I’m sure you would agree, we could all lose some weight by cutting off limbs too, but we aren’t willing to do that because of the consequence of that action are not one we are willing to trade for the results.
While what’s happening with cutting carbs to a low level is not as graphic, I think what we are doing isn’t far off.
